Tasting Notes: 2019 was the first vintage of the Ronchi Barbaresco Gaia Principe. Sourced from vineyards owned by a close friend of Ronchi winemaker Giancarlo Rocca, the parcel of Gaia Principe, located in Neive, measures only about one hectare. Ronchi always provides incredible value and purity of expression, with dried orange, mint and tobacco on the nose. The palate is lush and expansive, with tannins well-placed against the backbone of acidity and pleasing red berry fruit.
