Tasting Notes: The Aldo Conterno Barolo Colonello has tantalizing aromas of violets, mint, roses and wild berries. The dense palate is loaded with charm, red cherries, white flowers and a mineral push.
Estate History: Aldo Conterno, the son of famous Barolo producer Giacomo Conterno, after a trip to America, decided to start his own winery in 1969. He purchased the Favot estate, now run by his three sons, Franco, Stefano and Giacomo.
