Tasting Notes: A Cirò Riserva from Calabria, made from the native Gaglioppo grape and released with long aging. Garnet with orange hints, it offers dried cherry, red plum, leather, licorice and spice, with a savory palate, firm tannins and a long finish. Pair with braised meats, roast lamb, spicy salumi and aged pecorino.
Estate History: Ippolito 1845 is one of Calabria's oldest wineries, based in Cirò Marina.
