Tasting Notes:The Elio Altare Barolo has a beautiful ruby red color with garnet reflections. In the glass are aromas of small red fruits, raspberry, redcurrant and wild roses that evolve into licorice and spice notes. The palate is enveloping, elegant, with firm yet supple tannins balanced by a soft acidity and a lingering richness.
