Tasting Notes: The Felsina Spumante Brut Rosè shows a lovely color reminiscent of onion skins with coppery highlights, enhanced by very leisurely bead of pin point bubbles. The bouquet is delicate and super-fragrant, releasing nuances of wild berry fruit, citrus, and rose petals. The well balanced palate gradually reveals a refreshing acidity, and finishes with notes of red currants, candied almonds, and wild berries.
Estate History: Felsina began in 1966 when Domenico Poggiali bought the estate and took the leap into Italian viticulture at a time when it was struggling. Investing in the quality of the wine and the expertise of a young team they injected modernity into their business plan while keeping an eye on history.
