Tasting Notes: Gattinara Riserva DOCG from Alto Piemonte, made from Nebbiolo grown on the volcanic, mineral-rich soils of the Gattinara hills and given extended aging before release. It shows red cherry, dried rose, iron, spice and forest floor with firm, refined tannins and a long, savory finish. Decant and serve with braised meats, game and aged cheeses.
