Tasting Notes: A Primitivo from Gioia del Colle, the hilly, higher-altitude heart of Puglia where Primitivo gains freshness and structure. Deep ruby-purple with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, plum, Mediterranean herbs and spice, it offers a juicy, generous palate balanced by lively acidity and ripe tannins. Pair with orecchiette with braised meat, grilled lamb, burgers or aged caciocavallo.
Estate History: Plantamura is a small family estate in Gioia del Colle, devoted to organically farmed Primitivo from its own vineyards.
