Tasting Notes: A traditional-method sparkling wine from the Alta Langa, made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown in Piedmont's high hills. Pale gold with a fine, persistent bead, it offers citrus, green apple, white flowers and toasted bread, with a crisp, elegant finish. Serve as an aperitivo or with fried appetizers, raw fish, risotto and creamy cheeses.
Estate History: Casa E. di Mirafiore was founded in 1878 by Count Emanuele Alberto di Mirafiore, son of King Vittorio Emanuele II, and is today part of the Fontanafredda family in Serralunga d'Alba.
