Tasting Notes: Praepositus is the top line of Abbazia di Novacella, the historic Augustinian monastery winery founded in 1142. Moscato Rosa is a rare, red-skinned Muscat grown in tiny quantities in Alto Adige, and this sweet wine is pure perfume: rose petal, wild strawberry, raspberry and cinnamon, with a silky, luscious palate balanced by fresh acidity. Serve with berry tarts, chocolate desserts or blue cheese.
