Tasting Notes: From Tenuta Mara, an estate in the hills behind Rimini devoted to Sangiovese and a gentle, natural approach. Maramia is a Sangiovese of depth and finesse, with a few years of age adding complexity: red and black cherry, plum and violet with notes of leather, dried herbs and sweet spice, fine-grained tannins and a long, savory finish. Excellent with tagliatelle al ragł, roast meats or aged cheeses.
